The rouxat is a feline-fox hybrid that has developed over the centuries. With the presence of Dragons and other flying beasts, they developed wings. Rouxat are about the size of an adolescent fox: 14 to 26 inches from nose to base of tail, 10 to 16 inches at the shoulder, and with tails spanning anywhere from 12 to 21 inches. Their weight varies, but they typically weigh between twenty and thirty pounds when healthy. The wing span of the rouxat is typically the length of the body without tail length multiplied by 1.83, with wings looking similar to those found on wild geese, but furred more on the backs.
The rouxat are native to the wilds of Snivi, but can be found most everywhere. They are intelligent creatures that are typically not domesticated, unless born in captivity. They are able to understand human speech and speak it, but not all will open up to speak as willingly as others do. The rouxat are omnivores - they will eat just about everything.
The pelts adopted by the rouxat are as varied as colors of flowers. Most commonly, though, pelts are shades of russets and lighter colors like greys and pale browns. It is not uncommon for there to be darker browns and whites in the pelts, but less common mutant gene colors have shown up to present black, pink, and even green pelts in the various rouxats found throughout the world. Their eye colors are less varied, in that they have the colors that felines are likely to have: Blue, green, yellow, and grey
